Ready for Red at Chinese New Year – CNY Bazaar at Chinatown Singapore

It’s the time of the year that I normally try to find time to head over to Chinatown to see some vibrant colors and innovative decorations related to the upcoming CNY 2016 – Lunar Chinese New Year at Chinatown Singapore. The official lighting of the Eu Tong Street and areas near the Chinatown was officially done on 16th January 2016, the 9th International Lion Dance Competition at Singapore was scheduled on 23 an 24th of January , so I was planning to head down there to get the tickets as last time we did manage to get a glimpse standing among the crowds at Kreta Ayer Square, the venue was small and I guess the seats were limited , so this time it was to be held at Hong Lim Park . I did manage to get it on time , phew there I was it with tickets of the event , having settled a bit , I enjoyed the vibrant colors of the decorations happening around Chinatown and literally the Chinatown is painted in red (predominantly ) with yellow and green . Without wasting much time , here goes the pictured…
